WAFCO, in parallel with technical project issues, considers occupational safety, health, and environmental concerns. It regards adherence to relevant standards as essential to enhance occupational health, prevent environmental harm, and fulfill its primary duties.

All WAFCO employees are obligated to comply with safety, occupational health, and environmental principles outlined within the framework of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. They pursue the following objectives:

• Complete identification of safety risks and hazards before project initiation and implementation of necessary measures to reduce diseases, occupational injuries, and consequently, enhance long-term productivity.
• Improving safety performance requirements,  through continuous identification, evaluation, and analysis of processes.
• Addressing organizational safety and health weaknesses with a commitment to the prevention principle over treatment.
• Commitment to implementing safety and occupational health principles, and adhering to relevant standards based on the conditions of each project.
• Commitment to safety, occupational health, and environmental system for all WAFCO’s employees, employers, project contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Attention to social and legal responsibilities in connection with the environment.
• Identification and reduction of environmental pollutants, among other harmful factors.
